OPTICAL NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING LABORATORY - TU DELFT

The OptoNDT Laboratory is the new centre for optical engineering and non-destructive testing in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty. Our focus is on developing optical sensors and instrumentation for materials characterisation and structural diagnostics for engineering and cultural heritage applications. Our holography and interferometry based techniques provide high accuracy full-field measurements of displacement, shape and strain parameters. Our optical fibre sensors research is on embedded sensors and high speed measurement techniques, integrated with acoustic non-destructive monitoring techniques. We will present our recent research developments and give you the chance to discuss with our researcher team at Fotonica Evenement 2011.
