Applied Optics (HBO +)
A field in which new developments and applications are the drive for growing  industries in medical, telecommunications and consumer electronics. Whether you are an optical designer or 'just' a user of optical equipment, a thorough knowledge of the field of optics is often very desirable if not essential.

Optics (MBO +)
Because of the rapid development of technology in industry and laboratories the field of optics is increasingly apparent. Knowledge of geometrical optics, physical optics and the operation of optical instruments and components is required.
Laser Safety
In this course, the user of lasers is given an overview of the potential hazards of (working with) lasers. Besides this a basic knowledge is provided for carrying out risk assessments. Also steps are explained necessary to obtain optimal safety at the workplace.

High Power LEDs
In the medical world, mobile telephony, automotive and design extensive use is made of LEDs. High Power LED are based on semiconductor technology, which requires a completely different expertise than conventional light sources. Especially calculating electrical and thermal control require specialized knowledge and skills.
