The Agriculture & Food track contains presentations regarding optical techniques improving quality of life of livestock and the agro-ecosystem. Green Technology enabled by photonics supports the latest tools for sustainability to increase food quality and crop production efficiency. Therefore Photonic technologies are gathering increasing momentum in agriculture, horticulture, livestock, and food applications. During the session recent developments will be presented of Smart Farming and Green Tech, where research institutions such as the Wageningen UR and many innovative companies play important, pioneering roles.
